I wondered if someone could help.

I have 1 column that contains a row of values in the format N12345. There are some 2000 rows.

In a seperate column I need to add 1 character to each of these values i.e HN12345.

How can I do this?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
="H"&A1

and copy down. Adjust the A1 reference if necessary.
