Adding a hyperlink in excel to an external file causes excel to crash

Every time I try to create a hyperlink within excel to another workbook excel crashes. Does any one know why and how I can resolve this please? It is so frustrating. I can add hyperlinks to sheets within the workbook, just not to other work books.

Look at the link below...search for [FONT=&quot]God mode folder.....
[/FONT]you can try to copy the file to another folder and then try hyprelink
