Hi guys, I'm hoping you could help.

I am creating a report that I need to link though to some images for a review. The images are hosted online. My data extract provides the second part of the URL, so I have been using a CONCATENATE and HYPERLINK function to create a hyperlink directly from my report to the image in question. It's working well (apart from hitting a character limit, but thats not my question).

Question: If I were manually creating the hyperlinks, I have the options of 'text to display' and the 'Address' to link to. So I could display the image title, but that could click through to the URL. Is it possible to achieve this using a formula, without having to manually create the link?

Thanks in advance!
James

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
I just answered my own question and noticed the "friendly_Name" ability at the end of the function!
