In my macro-enabled workbook, I allow people to insert images onto a protected sheet. I do this by allowing "edit objects" when the sheet is protected.
One user wants to add a link onto their image, so if someone else clicks that image, it will open a website in a browser. I figured if I allowed "Insert hyperlinks" it would allow it. But it doesn't.
I tried it on a brand new workbook, where I protected the sheet manually (as opposed to VBA code) and tried it. Here's a screenshot of what I selected in the protection window.
When I inserted an image and right-clicked on it, the "Link" option was greyed out. Anyone have any idea how I could allow my user to add a hyperlink to an image when the sheet is protected?
