Hi,

I have a list of over 250 names.

I have found a formula that had created another list of just their initials.

What I would like, if possible is to be able to add a 1, 2, 3 and so on to the initials.

For example, if I had:
AA
AA
AA
BB
CC
CC
CC
CC
DD
DD

I would like to be able to change them to the following:
AA1
AA2
AA3
BB1
CC1
CC2
CC3
CC4
DD1
DD2

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Glad to help & thanks for the feedback.
