Hello, i'm new to this group and would like to ask if there is a way to have an Excel table directly under merged cells (something like a header) - any help would be appreciated.

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.

I would suggest you not use merged cells. Many of the pro Excel contributors loath the use of them.

Use Center Across Selection formatting for your headers.

Look for it on Home tab >Cells > Format > Format Cells > Alignment > Horizontal > Center Across Selection
