I wonder if any of you wonderful people might be able to help me please ?

I have created a basic times table practice spreadsheet and I would like to add in a timer which would count down for perhaps 2 minutes and then disable the spreadsheet. I would then need to be able to restart it for learners to have another go.

Another option might be to start the timer and then after they have finished each block click a button to stop the clock.

I am wanting this to be able to introduce an element of competition between the learners so any other solution you could suggest would be very gratefully received.

The existing spreadsheet can be viewed at http://www.tutors4gcse.co.uk/information/free-resources/index.php then clicking on Interactive Times tables practice.

Thanks (in advance) for your help

Thank you SO much for your help - this definitely looks like the exact thing I am looking for.

If I have trouble customising it, can I come back to you ?

Thanks again

Hi,

I'm pleased it helped you out.
If you have any problems I suggest starting a new thread outlining what you have and the problem you are facing. Include a link to any relevant thread/site where you have got your code from.

Good luck
