Hello, I'm looking for some guidance on how to quickly add further if statements to multiple tabs which are in themselves linked to other tabs in the document.

I tried highlighting the tabs I wanted to change and amending the formula but this also changed the link to tab too.

an example of the formula is below. its purpose is to reformat to text and change the values to remove the , in years. I need to add in 2020 & 2021. I want to change on all tabs without changing where its looking at, in this case the tab called SOCI.

Hope you can help

=IF(SOCI!A2="-","\textendash \hspace{0.1em}",IF(SOCI!A2="2,018",2018,IF(SOCI!A2="2,019",2019,(SOCI!A2)))

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.

What about changing your formula to:
=IF(SOCI!A2="-","\textendash \hspace{0.1em}",TEXT(A2,0))
No further need to update for more years.

Just remembered the initial intention of your post.
=IF(SOCI!A2="-","\textendash \hspace{0.1em}",TEXT(SOCI!A2,0))
You need the extra SOCI! in the TEXT function to anchor the reference when copying to other worksheets.
