Adding comment to worksheet (not the cell)

Is there a way that I can add a comment to a worksheet tab. I do not want to add the comment inside a cell inside the worksheet, but rather to the worksheet tab itself. I have a large data base that I am editing, and at each stage, I start a new tab in case I need to go back to the old data or the original form. This will be a task that I would like to hand off to another dept, so it would be helpful to add a comment on the tab explaining how the data was changed from the previous tab. The tab names are a bit too short to do this.

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
As far as I know that is not possible.

How about a message box appearing whenever the tab is selected (requires VBA)?
