I have the following:

A1=02/07/23 (23 Jul 02)
A2=00/06/21 (21 Jun 00)

How could I create a formula that will add these two dates and obtain the following result:

Adding A1+A2=02/13/44 which simplifies to (14 Feb 03)

Thanks

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
PaddyD, actually this is the opposite; that link took me to substracting dates. Now I'm trying to add dates! Any advise? Thanks!

Well, it's part of my job, what I do day by day! I'm trying to simplify the way I do reports.... Thanks!

Hey - only joking! Do you want the formula to do the 'simplification' as well or just return items of the form

02/13/44
