Adding Event Tag to Chart

Is it possible to add an event tag to a chart? What I am envisioning is the x-axis being a series of dates, the y-axis being a particular statistic and tying an event to a date. So what one would see is a graph of the data and then vertical line coming up from a date to mark some event that affected the data. For example, tracking call handle times in a call center and noting the date that a computer system was upgraded to make it more efficient. Is anything like that possible?

If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Hi Mattantaliss,

I don't know of a way to do this with built-in features. However, it can be done with a bit if VBA code. I have some examples of doing similiar things as you describe using VBA. If you would like me to email them to you, let me know.

Hi Damon,

Yes, I would greatly appreciate it if you could send those examples to me. If you are unable to get to my e-mail address from within here, let me know (via reply) and I'll get it to you. Thanks.
