Hello Everyone,
I want to add fractions in Excel. I choose fraction(two digit) from a Number group.

1) 1/9 4/27 7/27
2) 2 1/2 2 1/2

Above you can see, when i add fractions 1/9 and 4/27--> Result is ok.
When i add 2 and 1/2 --> I want the result to be 5/2 not 2 1/2.

Please help me!!!!

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Highlight cells that you want that format in,
Right click, choose "Format Cells", choose "Number" tab, choose " Custom " just above the middle in the pop up box, under the word " Type "...type in this;
??/??
Nothing else, click ok...
That should do it...
