Adding Multiple Cell Contends to Another Single Cell

I have a requirement to rate employees on particular criteria; and based upon that rating, add their name to a “9-Box Grid” (which looks similar to a tic-tac-toe board). I would like to automate the process by allowing the user to enter an Employee Rating (1-9), and have Excel populate the Employee Name into the appropriate Grid Box.

If each row of data contains the Employee Name (column A) and the Employee Rating (column B), is there a method to populate another cell (representing the Grid Box) with the Employee Names that meet that criteria? The user should be able to enter an Employee Rating and see the Employee Names “pop-up” in the corresponding Rating Box (1-9).

Should I simply tell my boss that it can’t be done and go home for the day?

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
I would imagine that the easiest way of doing this would be to get the user to enter the info, and then automatically enter this into another sheet in the form of a crude database - i.e. Ee, Rating

Then run a Pivot Table off this crude database.

You could have a imput box appear over the pivot table - when they enter the data it would add it to the database and refresh the Pivot.

This viable?

A great idea! Since nothing is in stone, I'll take this and run.
Thanks for the help! I regularly search for answers through the forum (and find them), but this problem required some help. I appreciate yours.
