Adding "page X of Y" in header/footer not working when used in macro

I've created a little macro (simply by recording my actions), and among the intended functions is to prepare the document for printing (setting margins etc.). It's also supposed to add in a "Page X of Y" in either the header or footer, but it always just shows "1 of" and then nothing. Below is what the recorder recorded. In my research I found that there is some kind of bug concerning macros and the header/footer, but couldn't find a solution. I also read that the "Application.PrintCommunication" can cause some trouble, so I deleted all of those lines (replace with blank), but it caused the macro to return an error. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?
