Hi,

If i have a spreadsheet with 2 sheets, one is the data sheet and the other is summary. I want to add a sheet on a weekly basis with the data from that week. As i add sheets I want the summary sheet to automatically update the information much like if I had a sum(a1:a20) even though I don't have anything in a10-a20 as I add numbers it would automatically take that into effect. Thanks.

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Insert a blank sheet before your data sheet and name it First. Then insert a blank sheet after your data sheet and name it Last. In your summary sheet enter a formula like:

=SUM(First:Last!A10)

When you add new sheets be sure to insert them after First and before Last.
