adding text to a formula result

Hello,

I am trying to add some text to a formula result, with no luck.

My formula is ="Total - "&E11/D11

result is Total – 57.1325487564654

I am needing the result to round to 2 decimal places, and even though I set the format for that particular cell, the formula result overrides the cell format. I've tried to add the ROUND function, but keep getting an error on the result.

Can someone tell me how to write the formula with text and the ROUND function?

Yes, it does! I promise I have tried and tried to get this, and couldn't get it to work. I copied your formula and pasted, and it worked just fine. I must have been missing some small something in mine. Thank you so much for the super fast reply!
