I have a column of data with 6 digits number something like 123456 1 want a method to add six zero's to right so it looks like 123456000000. please help how to do this. Thanks

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Quick and dirty solution really.

Insert an extra column and then use =A1&"000000" (where A1 is the original 6 digit number you have), copy the column, paste as values and delete the original column.

Not particularly sophisticated, but it works.
