This question is related to a vba question that I recently posed on this forum.

I am using Excel 2007 and have an xlam workbook located in C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Microsoft\Addins

When is try to install it using either the hot keys Alt-t, i or using the office button I get an error message "Run-time error 9. Subscript out of range". Despite the error message, the addin gets ticked.

This does not occur when I untick the Addin. This process works normally.

I'd be grateful if anyone could throw any light on the problem.

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
You are getting an error when the addin workbook opens. The workbook is opened (which is why it is ticked), but the code in it generates an error.

Many thanks for that reply Juan Pablo González. You put me on the right track and after two days of searching I have finally found what is responsible for the error message.

I am very grateful for your assistance.
