Address Function failing me

The Address function works ok for me in a spreadsheet but does not work for me when I try to use it for an Insert Name Define operation to define the data named using Offset and the Address function to locate the start of the data.
Is this a case of the Insert Name Define not being dynamic or some other quirk of the system?
