Hello,

I am working on updating a reconciliation form and am looking for a way for Excel to automatically update the date automatically. It is not a normal format as the day is always in the middle of a sequence. For example, the entry I am trying to auto update is TD23G where 23 is the day of the month that the form is being filled out. Is there an entry I can use so that when I fill out the form on the 24th it automatically fills in as TD24G?
Thanks in advance!

This will put today's date day into that...
="TD"&DAY(TODAY())&"G"

Note however, that this will automatically change as the day changes. So if you did this yesterday and it said TD23G, then today, that same form would now read TD24G
