Advance filter option

Require help on advance filter option as i am working with TEXT values but am unable to generate the desired results.


A certain column A contains colours - red, blue, green, yellow, orange, black

I have given the criteria as

COLOUR
<> RED

So, using the advance filter option, all except RED should be listed. But i am not getting the desired results.

Can you help.

Try ="<>RED", with the quotes an the equals sign.

Is it no results at all or wrong results?
