I am still not able to accomplish what I am attempting to do. Let me try again. Let's say my active cell is A1 and I want to advance to the next cell down (A2) as if I have hit the enter/return key. Regardless of what data is in the cell.
What would this code be?

(N.B. Note that if you have a previous post where this detail is, you should simply post a reply to that post, thereby 'bumping' it back to the top of the list. If this earlier "context setting" post exists, don't assume that people will look for it - you should at least post a link to it. If the post does not exist, the general message is that the better you describe the context of your problem, the more likely you are to get an answer, and the more likely that answer is going to solve your problem).

I wrote a macro that copies a row of data from one sheet to another. The original question is so that I can repeat the macro and each time it advances to the next row down

Sub Macro5()
'
' Macro5 Macro
' Macro recorded 11/3/2002
'

'
Windows("Project copy").Activate
Sheets("sheet5").Select
Columns("A:A").Select
Selection.Find(What:="1", After:=ActiveCell, LookIn:=xlValues, LookAt:= _xlPart, SearchOrder:=xlByColumns, SearchDirection:=xlNext, MatchCase:= _
False).Activate
ActiveCell.EntireRow.Select
Selection.Cut
Sheets("Sheet4").Select
ActiveSheet.Paste
ActiveCell.Select

End Sub

this code works fine i just need a way to get to the next cell down which is an empty line
