Hi,

I'm trying to filter all the dates that are greater than today by using advance filter. Can I do that?

I want to put a formula in the criteria range like >=today()
which will filter all dates from today to the future, or just >today() would be fine.

I do not want to manually insert today date as >dd/mm/yyyy and <12/31/2999

Thanks,
Danny

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Welcome to the board!

Probably a better way...... but IF COLUMN A is dates put this in column B:
=IF(A1>TODAY(),"TRUE","FALSE") and then drag it down column B
Then Autofilter the 2 columns together and choosing true would leave all dates ahead of the curent date?

A1: Date

A2 and downwards house the dates of interest.

B:C houses other data.

Set up the criteria range as:

F1 must be left empty.

F2:

=A2>=TODAY()

Run the Advanced Filter on the data area with F1:F2 as the Criteria range.
