Hi,
I have following columns of raw data:
Date|Interval|Updates
2002/11/02|12:30:00 PM|849
2002/11/02|12:45:00 PM|2698
2002/11/02|1:00:00 PM|2704
2002/11/02|1:15:00 PM|2700

I am creating a Pivot Table using above data.
Right now My Pivot Table looks like as follows:

With PT
.PivotFields("Date").Orientation = xlColumnField
End With

With PT.PivotFields("Updates")
.Orientation = xlDataField
.Function = xlSum
.NumberFormat = "0.00"
.Name = "Number of Updates (count)"
'End With

Now I want to add another field in which I want to calculate average by dividing "Number of Updates (count)"
by number of hours. Number of hours can be calculated from Interval Raw Data column using grouping on hours. Interval column has raw data for each 15 minutes and this interval could be variable eg. (5 minutes, 15
minutes..)

I need to know how can I go about calculating "Number of Updates (count/hour)"
field. Please let me know if you have answer to my question.

Thanks in advance,

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
