Hello, I have a pivot table with SSN's in column A and then specific payroll dates in row 4 that populate columns B through P. The lookup range would be A4:B209

on another spreadsheet I have SSN's in column A and then I'm wondering if there's a formula I can use to pull gross earnings for a specific pay period for each SSN? I have the pay periods in row 2 they are merged and centered for 5 columns, so the first pay date is C2:G2, second one is H2:L2

The gross earnings that I want to pull in are in the first column for each pay period, so column C for the first pay date, column H for the second, etc....

any help would be very much appreciated and I hope I explained what I need well enough

Hi
Please post a sample of the data you have and the result you'd like to achieve. You may be able to do what you're asking with sumif or sumifs. I'm having trouble visualising without my usual grid of number :)
