This is a recent problem for me, not sure what changed, but I believe after printing I was normally returned to the worksheet. Now I have to press tab to return. Any idea how I fix this minor, annoying problem? Thanks in advance...JL

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Hi Jlongo,

How you figured out that tab key will return to worksheet ?
Did you tried with all keys ?

Thanks for responding, DILIPandey. After printing I am returned to the worksheet, but if I try to do anything like enter data or print again I cannot. It's almost as if I was stuck in another window. So I tried Alt-Tab and could then work in the file.

Try repairing the office installation through "Add/Remove Programs" option in control panel.
Do you face same issue in other office products i.e., word, powerpoint ?

Thanks, DILIPandey, I will give that a try. I am an infrequent user of Word but I will see if the same issue occurs there. I do not use PowerPoint. Thanks again.
