I am using Excel 2003.

I have a 6 sheet workbook with a MAIN sheet, being used as a Menu. The MAIN sheet has hyperlinks to each of the other sheets, and each sheet has a cell labelled "Return to MAIN", which is hyperlinked back to the MAIN sheet.

My problem is that I have protected each sheet (except for the areas which require user-input), excluding the "Return" cell, so that it can be clicked. However, this allows the user to change the contents of the cell, even to delete it! How can I make the cell clickable but not editable?

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Hi Usernew,

When Protecting the Sheet, check the two checkboxes:
Select locked cells
Select unlocked cells
