Hi,

I was wondering if anyone might be able to point me in the right direction (even if that is by telling me what I want isn't possible).

I am looking for a solution to one of the following:

1) All tables within a spreadsheet do not allow SORT but allow users to FILTER on tables.
2) Same as above but based on Sheet Name e.g. if Sheet Name contains LOCK it would only allow the FILTER but the table name doesn't include this then it can be FILTER\SORT).

Currently, to do this I am adding an editable range on the tables then protecting the table with Allow AutoFilter on.

Thanks in Advance,

Just trying to mitigate users breaking the spreadsheet and to make it less work across each sheet for me.

If you want to prevent users sorting the sheet then you will need to protect it.

Hey Fluff,
Thought this was going to be the only option but never hurts to ask :)
Thanks for confirming this.
