Allowing users to add to a file but not delete existing data

Hi there, this is my first post so please be kind.
We have an excel file that we would like other users on our network to access and add content to, but we don't want them to be able to delete any existing material. Is there a way to do this?

We tried using the 'Shared Workbook' so that we could track any changes others made, but they seem to be able to accept or reject their own changes. Then the computer kept telling us it was out of memory when we tried to accept or reject changes.

Cheers,
Dan

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Welcome.

You may want to use sheet protection to lock the cells you don't want them to change.

Re: Allowing users to add to a file but not delete existing

Sorry, my initial post was a little vague. What I meant was that we don't want them to be able to delete any information once it has been entered (either by them or someone else). We had considered locking any cells that had been updated, but with some 100+ sheets in the database it was thought this would quickly become cumbersome.
