Alt + Tab

I'm sure this will be childs play for you lot..

if you have more than one spreadsheet open you can usually click alt and tab to flick between them both.. but then sometimes you can't.

And today i can't.. have I pressed something to prevent it ? I have to keep using window then choosing the spreadsheet which is taking ages and very irritating.

Sounds like you've turned off Windows in Taskbar somehow.

Goto Tools>Options and turn it back on in the View tab.

Note ALT+TAB isn't just for moving between worksheets, it's to move between windows.
