Does anyone know how to write an IF statement based upon a search of specific text values within a range?

For example, I've tried:

=IF(B10:M10="TextValue1","TextValue2","TextValue3")

...but it doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.

Is it not...

=IF(ISNUMBER(MATCH("TextValue1",B10:M10,0)),"TextValue2","TextValue3") ?
