I've put together a basic excel test, would anyone be willing to take a look at it and give feedback?

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
If anyone has tried finishing it, how long did it take you? I've had a few people here look at it and it took them less than 10 minutes. If anyone's looked at it and wants the solution, I can post that too.

I finished in more than 10 minutes but I learned a few things too. I thought is was a good beginners test (which I am).

I'll be honest, I knew the formulae that you were looking for. In my honest opinion, it does depend on what you want to test. Whatever you want to test, I'd ask more than 2 questions though - a test should be longer.

Again, depending on how much knowledge you want to test, google "ten most useful excel formulae" or something like that and devise a test based on that.

This is a good list: http://richardbowles.tripod.com/excel/useful.htm

This has formulae for different levels of difficulty: http://www.excelfunctions.net/

Hope that helps.

For the second question, are we allowed to use a pivot table? If not, I don't know how to select the unique values of region. I know it's under Filter somewhere, but I never need it so I never learn how to use it.

If pivot table is allowed, then it's less than 1 min for both questions, but again that's only because I just happen to know which formula you're looking for. I am nowhere near an expert level.
