Hi All,
I am running an animated GIF on a Userform using an additional control within VBA.
In order for the control to work for other users a file needs to be copied to C:\Windows\System32\ and then the following command run from the Start\Run\ area of windows:
regsvr32.exe DXAnimatedGIF.ocx
Once this is done the control will work and allow the use of GIFs animations on userforms.
Is there a way I can get my spreadsheet to do on opening:
1. Copy the file to C:\Windows\System32\ (the file will be in a specific folder eg My Documents\
2. Run the command regsvr32.exe DXAnimatedGIF.ocx
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Michael.
