Annoying printing problem

Hello all, hope you can help me with this pickle:

When a column's background color is grey, for some reason the entire column doesn't print out with the rest of the page. Print preview clearly shows the columns in question, but when I actually print the page, they aren't there anymore...

I tested this in Word with highlighted text, and the results are the same...

I don't recall ever having encountered an option to hide this type of text, can you guys give me a push in the right direction?

difficult to see from here what happens with your sheet
can you email it (delete sensitive data) ?
anyway my post will give you a "bump" (to top of the page) in case someone else sees the problem
