Now instead of pulling out the number from the middle, I need the end... This one has really held me up since the final string can have all sorts of symbols: ., -, @, etc.

For example:

AB-1234569- 123.123.123.123
CD-012345 -asdblkdf0934
EF-987654321-abc-123-def-987
GH-32165497-asdkfj.ekrjw
IJ-213415-afe-ierj-bne@lkasdf

Is there a way I can use a '=RIGHT(' and grab everything from the second hyphen from the left? Or should I be looking at a different formula?

Thanks,

WeeZ

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
So you want to retrieve the text AFTER the 2nd hyphen?

Try
=REPLACE(A1,1,FIND("-",A1,FIND("-",A1)+1),"")
