Another Quick One: Updating Scrollbars?

Hey all,

I've got another quick, hopefully easy question. I've got a worksheet that loads data from another source for the employees to work with. Often we'll get several thousand records in one data pull, but other times there are only 100-200. If they've loaded a large amount of data, the righthand scrollbar will adjust size to hold that data, but when you clear it out and load subsequent data sets that are much smaller, the scrollbar stays the same size, making it hard for my users to scroll through the smaller amounts of data.

How can I force Excel to recalculate the size of the scrollbars at any given time?

Thanks in advance. :)

Hi,

I was revisiting this one recently, as I've encountered a problem. The code in the link provided in the above post works, but only if you save the workbook. The scrollbars will remain at the wrong size up until the point you save.

I have a workbook that many users access in read-only mode, so they do not have the option to save the file so that the scrollbars will get corrected to the standard / correct size. Does anyone know of a way to force Excel to update the scrollbars so that their size reflects the current contents of the sheet, instead of the largest size since the last save?
