Excel calculations: B3 = B1*B2 / B5= B3*.04 / B6= B3+B4+B5 /
The calculations show 2 decimals but use 3 for calculating gross.
590.625 doesn't round up to 590.63
WHY?
Enter the cells A1-6 and B1=6 as below in a spread sheet to see it...
A1Hours of WorkB143.75
A2RateB2$13.50
A3PayB3$590.63
A4otherB4$0.00
A5Vacation PayB5 $23.63
A6GROSSB6$614.25

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
If you format the cell for two decimal places it will display as rounded to .63 However, to correctly round this up, you need to use round(), ceiling() or some other rounding function. see excel help
