Any Info on when macro recorder will be fixed?

I've found posts on this board referring to the problems in the Excel 2007 macro recorder (e.g.: not recording the insertion of shapes on the worksheet). Has Microsoft indicated that it's going to fix the problems and, if so, when that might occur?

Hi Paul

Hopefully Office14 will see a fixed macro recorder, but I wouldn't hold your breath for anything before that. I would have thought if a fixed recorder is made available for 2007 it would be part of a major release eg Service Pack 2 for Office, whenever that might be.
