Any tips on what i should upgrade my pc to?

Hi everyone,
I hope this is ok posting this on here, I'll try keep it short in case I'm not supposed to but could really do with some help.
MY PC has given up and i need to get a new one.

Most of my day is spent working on excel documents for the bosses and mny are not my creations, so I have a big budget of up to £2000 to spend on a new pc.
I was wondering if anyone could guide me on what i should spend my money on?
I want excel to fly, to avoid all the holdups i currently get when using it,
I know we can get fast proceerors and ram so i suppose the question is is there a difference between amd and intel when it come to excel? and am i better off with an 8 core than a 4 core? also if i buy a ton of ram sy 32gig will it make a significant defence to my speed my old pc had 8gig and could be slow at times.
i know enough about computers to know what im buying its really a case of not knowing if excel need more ram or processing power?

Any any ideas will be taken as just points of view but might prove helpful to me?

If you have 32bit Office, it will only use 3GB RAM at most (depending on version), so more memory will only help if you have lots of other things using it up while you're using Excel. Saying that, I generally always make sure to have 16GB at least on any of my computers. Faster processors are better, naturally, and more cores will help assuming that calculation is your current bottleneck (VBA is single-threaded, so multiple cores doesn't help there). I'd also make sure you have a fast SSD, or preferably more than one so you can put any swap/temp files onto a separate one from your program files.

Think about a second screen. It will be nice to have a spreadsheet on one and vbe environment on the other.

Ok so it Ordered,
I got a Razen 9 16 core Cpu, 64 Gb ram high speed SSD so this thing should fly,
hopefully no more lagging
2nd Screen BP? i have 75" 4k tv as my monitor
