Hi folks...first time here. I have set up data validation from a list, but my user want to make multiple selections from the dropdown and have them all appear in the cell. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for your help. Sue

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.

I believe you will have to use the list box from the Control toolbar, probably on a userform, You will need to use VBA coding if you wish to perform a task using the choices.

Okay, you've already gone way beyond my current scope of excel. I have found the control bar list box and will see if I can figure it out via Excel help. Thanks for your response.

Okay gang - I'm getting nowhere fast. Anyone who can shed some light on this or possibly send me an example? Thanks.
