I'm using Access 2000 with XP

My database was stored on a Flash Drive which was corrupted but I have recovered the database file. It seems my problems are just beginning.

I now have the following error "AOIndex is not an Index in this table".

What should I do to fix this error?

Excel Facts

Get help while writing formula
Click the italics "fx" icon to the left of the formula bar to open the Functions Arguments dialog. Help is displayed for each argument.
The database may have become corrupted also.

Under Tools | Database Utilities, there is a Compact & Repair Database Utility. THat should always be the first thing to try, though I doubt it will fix the problem you are having.

I would try creating a new blank database, and importing all of your objects from the bad one into that new one, and see if that fixes the problem.

Thank you,

Detect and Repair also failed. I also dowloaded jetcomp.exe from Microsoft. That also failed.

But not all was lost. Fortunately I had another flash drive with a deleted copy of the file on it and I found Data Doctor Recovery Pen Drive on the web to help recover the old copy.

Yeah it works
