If I use

it will display

my program - file name

is there a way to drop the file name

I PUT THE CODE IN THE IMMIDIATE (ALT-F11 & CNTRL-G) IF I JUST ENTER THE FIRST LINE IT WORKS ONE TIME AFTER I SAVE IT AND RE-OPEN THE FILE THE CAPTION DOESN'T SHOW UP JUST THE SAME DEFAULT HEADING WHAT AM I DOING WRONG..I USE EXCEL 2000..COLLEEN

It's hard to prescribe a medication based on my readings, I don't understand the described symptoms/infliction...

Regarding my mentioning of the immediate window, it came from your original post:

I'm fairly certain that whatever code your referring to does not belong there, skip the ctrl-g step. Insert a module, put her there.

Still, you could post this procedure.
