I have a network excel file that another network excel file reads cell data from via external links. I use VBA to automatically save the source file. Every now and again I get a message box telling me that someone else is working in the source file. I believe that this message is source file is trying to save at the same time as the other file is updating the data links.
I have put Application.DisplayAlerts = False is the workbook open macro. is this the correct place for this code? If not then where is the best place.
