I would like to know if there is a way to restrict the entries of an application inputbox to a range of values. I would prefer not to use a userform but stick with the inputbox. An example of what I would like to do is use the inputbox like a data validation cell.

Thanks,
John M.

Code:

Again:
  ans = Application.InputBox("Range 1 to 100", "Number Entry", 1, , , , 1)
  If ans < 1 Or ans > 100 Then
    MsgBox "Opps, your number was not in the proper range, try again."
    GoTo Again

That is a great bit of code to test the responses.

I was looking for a way to get a combobox that allows a drop down of values.

Any ideas.
