I was reading that there is a way to turn on multi-threading in Excel 2007, what about 2003 ?

When I look in the Task Manager, I see that it Maxes at only 25% of the CPU power, but it could use more, is there any way to do this in 2003 ?

I set the priority High in Task Manager, but is there anything that I can do in VBA to make this faster, besides turning off screen updating and some other tricks and using optimal coding ?

Thanks!

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
What I often do in certain situations is to run the code from an external VBS , from an invisible second instance of excel or a from a dll all created on the fly and dinamically. As a I said, depending on what the code is doing it may or may not be a good idea to do the above.

ya, I hate the ribbons in 2007, not just me, the whole Office hates it, including the IT people, the Executive staff, we hate it - I wish Microsoft had some type of a classic look feature we could set it to and I heard that 2007 is slower in calculating than 2003, not sure if that was fixed or not.

Still in 2003 because of the Ribbons, I HATE it with a Passion.
