I try to run this code with an

Application.Screenupdating = False

But visual basic still considers it true.

Not really sure why.

The screen shot should help.

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
What do you mean VBA considers it true?

What exactly is the problem?

Posting the code might help rather than an image, which as you've probably noticed hasn't worked anyway.:)

Sorry, this was the screen shot.

When I even try stepping through the code. After I declare the Application.ScreenUpdating, Visual Basic still considers it as true after it has been declared false.

Any help will be appreciated.

I can see that now but when you run the code rather than debug it is screen updating turned off.

For example do things appear to be flickering etc.

Also that code seems to be calling other subs - have you checked that they aren't somehow turning screen updating back on.

I've seen that happen in some cases.:)

The Screen does flicker in the background and I have check the other subs and removed any screen updating declaration to be sure.
