Application.ScreenUpdating to stop flickering

When I use Radio or opion buttons I use Application.ScreenUpdating to stop flickering when the VBA is run, however if I dont need a option or radio button, and use an image instead is there an alternative as it flickers/flashes when i assign a macro to an image and run it
