Hi all,

Im using Application.Visible function to hide the workbook and only shows the userform.

Private Sub Workbook_Open()
Application.Visible = False
UserForm1.Show
End Sub

Problem arises when:

if there is an active excel file when this particular workbook with Application.Visible function is open, the active excel file will be hidden as well. Is there a way to specify the funtion is only to a particular workbook only?

Normally when I have an active userform, i cant open any excel file unless I exit the userform. Is it possible to allow an excel file to be open while having an active userform?

Cheers...

Is this what you want?

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
    ActiveWindow.WindowState = xlMinimized
    UserForm1.Show
End Sub

Hi Andrew,

Im afraid not. I have a workbook that automatically hide the excel function and only display the userform. But when I open this workbook any other excel file that is running will be hidden as well. is it possible to hide the application just to a specific workbook?
