Hi all. I would appreciate your help with the following. I have Sheets 2-6, all with a lot of rows - first three rows in each sheet are frozen and contain the column names. This is also where the filtering is applied (filtering is done in row 3). In column "I" (row 3) the user can manually select an IT component to see the corresponding data rows. There are several different IT components in every Sheet.

In Sheet1 I have all the IT components (from Sheets 2-6) listed in column A. My idea is that the user can go to Sheet1, see which components are present, and by clicking on the component name jump to the Sheet where this component is (one of Sheets 2-6), while also triggering the present filtering in row 3, column "I", based on the clicked component name.

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.

This might get you started.
Add this code to Sheet1.
Every time a cell is selected in Sheet1, this code will fire.

Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)

If Target.Value = "XYZ" Then
Worksheet("SomeSheet").Select
Range("SomeCell").Select
End If

End Sub
