I have a hugh list of data that is based on the Month and Year.

I have totals for all the data at the bottom (i.g. sales, number of hours worked)

I have the list filtered and when I choose to view just one month, or one salesperson or one area I'd like the totals to reflect only what I have showing based on the filter I choose.

Is this possible???

Thanks!!

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Re: Applying functions to only cells selected through filter

Aren't you using SUBTOTAL(9,Range) for totals or is there something more to it?
